We have been checking out a few game apps lately. These ones got a bunch of our attention.
We played the animal category and learned about new animals. We needed to check the Wiki to see what some of them were. It was simple to toggle back and forth. This is a definite case of iPod awesomeness.
We played around with a game called “Stack the States” and enjoyed it enough to pay for the full version. You answer questions to “earn” states and then stack them by rotating and dropping them on a platform. The goal is to stack them past a certain height line and get more than 80% correct.
We liked it enough to take on the challenge of the countries version. Holy Cow! My geography could use help.
We took a break from apps to play some Gobblet too. It is basically advanced Tic Tac Toe played with 4 sizes of pieces and the ability to “gobble” or put your pieces on top of your opponents pieces.
