Today’s Games

It is cool to see what games the kids pick each day. Here are my son’s from today.

Chicken Cha Cha Cha

Total memory game. I used to lose every time we played. Today I rocked and won all the feathers pretty quickly. I think it was putting the tiles in a grid that did it for me…I think we used to just spread them out randomly.

Old fashioned Pick Up Sticks.

It was harder than I remembered, maybe because we played on hard wood? The point scoring was neat too.

Last up was Marble Whacker.

We didn’t make it to the end but we made lots of noise while we played, lol.

Little Big Planet Creations

My son has been making new characters and tools in “Little Big Planet” on the PS3.

This first one is a rocket car. It reminds me of the ones from Star Wars.

This one got him super excited! He created a mirror using a water bubble with some framing around it.

Moving and shooting ninjas.

Happy robot guy.

Cool elephant.

Moving, shooting spider-doll.

Chattering teeth that chase you.

Waddle Doo

Waddle Dee being erased.

Flaming, shooting plant.

Nice Weather

The weather was so great, we headed out to play in the backyard today. We started off with Frisbee which my son loves and my daughter swears she is bad at. Then we moved on to football throwing, jumping, looking for living things, finding new flowers growing, balancing on stuff, and unfortunately my daughter sliding on gravel with both hands. That ended our play and sent us inside. My son made quesadillas for them and tried to cheer her up.

Today’s Games

So far we have played “Scattergories Junior” and “Pick Picknic”.

“Scattergories Junior” was a new one for us and was pretty fun. I know I looked up extra cards online in the past… I will have to see if I can dig them out of one of the computers.

“Pick Picknic” is always fun.

I like this game because of the different values of the cubes… Yellow is worth 3 points, blue is 2, and green is 1.

I got beat, 70 to 61.
