Snap Circuits Cat Toy

We pulled out the Snap Circuits today and they received a much better reception than when my son first received them at Christmas. He was totally excited to build stuff and quickly figured out the diagrams. We built a few different contraptions, but by far the favorite was the “Flying Saucer”, which quickly became a hillarious cat toy. The circuit was set up with a switch which you turned on to power a motor spinning a fan blade. When you turned off the switch (or when a kitty paw hit the fan blade) it would shoot up into the air accompanied by shrieks of laughter…
