When You Draw An Embroidery Pattern…

Always check the marker!

I have been working on an embroidery project for the last several days. Today, I thought it was close to completion and was just waiting for the marks from my dissolving ink pen to fade to see what little things I had yet to do. I started another embroidery project to pass the time and then it hit me. These marks are purple. Purple… my mind was confused for a minute. These are purple. I have one pen. The marks on my first project are brown. *$*&(*#^%#! , It was a Sharpie! A brown Sharpie that I grabbed by mistake. And now all my screwing around with the tree to see how many branches I wanted is not going to go away. I just can’t bring myself to look at it right now or start adding in all the branches and leaves it is going to take to cover it up. I feel ill…
